The days of waiting in long lines for your license are slowly ending in Punjab. Thanks to the special instructions from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the number of driving license services across the province has increased.
According to officials, in July, these services saw a 20% boost compared to June. That means more people got access to fast and simple licensing – and in big numbers too!
Here’s what happened last month:
- Over 814,000 citizens benefited from driving license services
- 268,000+ got new learner licenses
- 264,000+ received fresh regular licenses
- 271,000+ renewed their learner and regular licenses
- 6,100+ were issued international driving permits
This huge jump didn’t happen by luck. It’s the result of DIG Traffic Muhammad Waqas Nazir’s strategy, aiming to make public services smoother and faster for everyone.
